Christmas In Petite, 2020 edition, returns November 21 and 22, Saturday and Sunday, 10 – 4.
The vibrant South Shore community of Petite Riviere is busy preparing a warm welcome for your visit to this year’s Christmas market and fundraiser for local families facing challenges over the Christmas period.
This year it’s more important than ever to stand together to support one another as we celebrate the spirit of community.
Eight locations in the village will feature local vendors and artisans offering a wide range of unique gift options. In addition, there will be two locations for a delicious lunch: Osprey’s Nest Pub and Beachside Pizza.
The market locations for this year are: Petite Riviere Winery, Painted Saltbox Gallery, River House Studio, Petite Pet Hospital, Petite Riviere Firehall, Petite General Store, Garage Studio and Mariner Craft.
Nova Scotia Public Health Covid Protocols will apply at all locations.
For a chance to win one of eight fabulous prizes donated by vendors and artisans, visit all eight locations and get your “I’ve Been Everywhere” card stamped, then drop into the Firehall to make a minimum $20 donation to the Christmas fundraiser.
Donations will be collected by Wesley United Church volunteers who will provide Christmas hampers to local families needing a little help at this time of year. Hampers will include turkey dinners, groceries and gifts
The community of Petite looks forward to welcoming you to this exciting annual event: a chance to do some Christmas shopping, perhaps win a fabulous prize and most importantly, an opportunity to share in the spirit of the season with neighbours and friends and with your modest donation, make a difference for those in the community facing challenges over the holidays.
Save the dates on your calendar: Nov. 21 and 22, Saturday and Sunday 10-4 in Petite Riviere. Celebrate the season at Christmas In Petite.
